How to Win Friends
So, a colleague mine told me a joke the other day and here it goes: "Did you hear LeBron got engaged?" Finally, someone in his family finally has a ring". The Heat got blasted last night by the Nuggets and have lost 3 in a row on the road. Although they might not be panicking, they look vulnerable. How stable is that locker room? You have a coach who whines at every call, a player (LeBron) who can't close and Bosh calling out LeBron. Although Bosh was very accurate in his comments that Wade should be their-go-to guy and that LeBron should take a step back, using the media as an outlet is pretty weak. That is the kind of thing you talk about behind closed doors. Someone should give Bosh a copy of "How to Win Friends and Influence People". Never call out anyone in public. They will remember it forever. Although Bosh is accurate, Wade truly is their best player and a clutch performer. Even though I find it rather annoying that he gets injured every game and loves the drama, Wade plays well when the pressure is on...How amazing is Kobe? Just when you think he might slow down, Kobe continues to kill it. Don't count out the Lakers. They have a healthy Bynum, a motivated Gasol and they seem to have bought in to Coach Brown's system...Is Vinnie a good coach? Granted they have an all star roster, the Clippers seem to be clicking. The verdict is out but VDG might be for real...And how about those Celtics? They play hard and Rondo is balling but they need some offense. They might be headed to the lottery...Ricky Rubio is a baller. He is like Tom Cruise mixing up cocktails behind the bar. Can you imagine him in 3 years?.. My Bulls continue to roll over everyone. They are a deep team, play tenacious "D", and are very unselfish....The poor Warriors, they lost two key players to injuries again. Their comeback against the Heat was insane and a lot of fun to watch but this is not a playoff team even when healthy. Dorell Wright is a good player but he should not be your 2nd or 3rd option on offense. They need to make a trade. The fans deserve a winner and although the team is trying and management is trying to change the culture, they technically have the same core. Some new blood is needed...Now off to watch the Niners beat the Saints. Who's got it better than us?
